To be eligible for a membership in BAP, a Weber State University student must

Be a declared accounting, finance, or IS&T major.

Completed a 3000 level course in your major.

Maintain a cumulative or major GPA of 3.0 or greater.

In addition to these requirements, a hour system is used. Each candidate must obtain 40 hours of service and professional total during the academic year before becoming a member.

A fee of $75 is due at the time of application approval

The hour system is as follows:

Service Hours 15 hour Minimum:

1. Minutes are awarded for participating in service oriented activities as designed by the chapter.

Professional Activity Hours 15 hour Minimum:

Minutes are awarded to candidates attending and participating in Professional activities, events, and related

Total Hours Combined 40:

An additional 10 hours is required to complete 40 hour minimum and may be obtained through a combination of activities.
 

One hour is equal to 50 minutes.
