THE OGDEN BREWERS SOCIETY
Meetings are to be held every 2 weeks; one meeting will be of a technical nature with a guest speaker, while the next meeting will be a tasting. I believe this way everyone will learn something new and also will get to enjoy some good beer in the company of others with similar interests.
As you may or may not know, WSU is a dry campus, so tastings will have to be held off campus. I will organize these depending on the number of people who join up (I need at least 8 to be a club at WSU).
The first meeting is scheduled at 6:00 PM on March 16 in room 338 of the Shepard Union bldg. The next meeting will be 2 weeks later and the guest speaker will be Rick Daniels of Mountain Brew in SLC, he will give a class on wine making. There are no dues at this time; I believe that expenses (if any) can be dealt with as they arise. I shouldn’t have to mention this, but all members must be 21 years of age.
The proctor for the OBS is Dr David Ferro of the computer science department. Please feel free to email me any questions you may have. This could be so much fun, I really hope it works.
