Emeriti Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award

The Weber State University Alumni Association Emeriti Council is accepting nominations for the 2006 Emeriti Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award, which will be presented during the WSU Salutes Homecoming Awards Ceremony and Reception in the fall.

Description and Criteria for Award

This prestigious award is presented annually by the Emeriti Alumni Council to deserving candidates who have distinguished themselves in their communities and who have honored and served Weber during their lifetime.

The Emeriti Alumni Council is pleased to honor an individual whose life history reflects a record of achievements and service.  Many Weber alumni have achieved much in their lives but have not yet been honored by their alma mater.  The Emeriti Alumni Council Awards Committee will give first consideration to those candidates who have not received other WSUAA alumni awards or an honorary degree from WSU.

Any candidate for this award must be (1) a living, former student who attended Weber for at least two terms before 1966; (2) one whose life has been characterized by dedication and service; (3) one who has distinguished himself/herself with a lifetime of achievements in his/her chosen pursuits.

Names for consideration should be submitted to the Emeriti Alumni Council Lifetime Achievement Award Committee, which in turn presents its recommendations to the Emeriti Alumni Council for ratification.  Click here to access the Emeriti Lifetime Achievement Nomination Form.
