Online Resources
There are a number of very good resources to be had for Pre-Dental students online.
n ADEA - The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) is the national organization for all North American dental schools, dental education programs, corporations, faculty, and students.
n AADSAS - The Associated American Dental Schools Application Service (AADSAS) is sponsored by the American Dental Education Association and serves as the starting point for the Dental School application process.
n ADA - The American Dental Association (ADA) is the professional assocation of dentists.
n DMDstudent.com - A blog authored by a dental student at Temple University's School of Dentistry. There are a number of great resources here, including an application timeline, advice on writing a personal essay, as well as insight to the "daily grind" of dental school.
n PreDents.com - A website that allows Pre-Dental students to create a profile with their application information and statistics to allow others to see their acceptances, rejections, and interview offers.
n SDN - The Student Doctor Network (SDN) is a resource for pre-health and pre-professional students with free articles and a very large discussion forum. There are forums for Pre-Dental students, dental students, dental residency programs,and DAT discussions.
