1. UHESA is looking to form a more powerful voice for staff from all of
the Universities
to attend meetings with the legislature. Question was asked: Can UHESA be
representative of all staff all across the state?
Lori: Needs are different for all schools.
Gloria: UHESA believes it will be a more powerful voice.
Marsha: UHESA is made up of different types of staff associations.
How would this representative group be funded? UHESA looked at possibly
getting $1.00 from every staff member in the state higher education
system.
How would this happen?, What is the direction?, Who would be our voice?,
Possibly the UHESA president, however...continuity could be a problem.

to be charged to each institution is $150.00 to help pay for travel for
the executives of UHESA.

voice.
Drew: Timing is everything.
