PSAC Minutes
May 13, 2003


1. Welcome: Drew Weidman
Present: Wendell Rich, Marsha Richter, David Eisler, Cindy Stokes, Lori Drake, Gloria Perez-Jensen, Drew Weidman, Woodie Slaughter.
Excused: Nancy Collinwood, Ron Jensen.

2. Approval of minutes:
Marsha motioned to approve, Lori seconded.

3. UHESA meeting report: Lori attended this meeting for the first time and believes that all
PSAC members should attend UHESA at least once. Dixie & SLCC are closed Friday’s all summer long. USU has a dvd with pictures of all of their staff. CEU & UVSC have 100% tuition waiver’s for all dependents. Dixie gives a $3,543.00 stipend for the President of their staff association.

4. Parking: There is a survey out and the response is going well. A recommendation has been made to increase the parking cost by 2% to 3% per year.

5. University Planning Committee: President Millner needs recommendations for a representative from CSAC & PSAC. We were thinking Drew or Marsha.

6. University Relations has been re-aligned, area 2 is smaller and area 3 is larger. We need to realign for next year’s elections for PSAC representatives.

7. Other business: Dr. Eisler has been appointed as the new President of Ferris State University in Michigan. He is leaving for his new position to begin on July 7th. We recommended as his replacement: Norm Tarbox or Vicki Gorrell.
