Meeting Minutes 07-07-03 1. Welcome: Ron Jensen Present: Ron Jensen, Drew Weidman, Cindy Stokes, Dane Leblanc, Woodie Slaughter, Vicki Gorrell. Excused: Marsha Richter, Lori Drake, Gloria Perez-Jensen, Shelley Hensen. 2. Ron handed the gavel over to Drew Weidman as the new chair. 3. Approval of minutes: Cindy motioned to approve, Ron seconded. 4. University Planning Committee: Drew is the representative from PSAC. The committee is working on goals for the University...need to decide where Weber is at it’s best. Dr. Kim Cameron from the University of Michigan: 1. Branding 2. Improving First Year Experience 3. How to retain quality staff and employees 4. Improving research opportunities for students with faculty (Undergrads) 5. UHESA meetings are coming up on August 7th & 8th ...two members from PSAC need to attend. 6. Woodie will make a reservation for the August PSAC meeting and get back to Drew. 7. A general discussion and question and answer period happened. 8. Moved to adjourn meeting: Dane motioned, Woodie seconded.
