Discussion
Medical Benefits:
q Results
from the survey have been compiled and Open Meetings were held with the
campus. The Steering committee is leaning towards either plan 3 (a flat
percentage) or plan 4 (which would be adjusted for pay rate). CSAC is
supporting plan 4.
q Couples
often cost more than families in Medical bills
q The
advisory committee is awaiting the decision of the President before the RFP
is created.
December 26th
Holiday: President’s Council has allotted an extra holiday on December
26th. PSAC is pleased with this decision
Appreciation for staff:
PSAC would like to formally express appreciation for the staff that are on
campus during the winter break to serve students and keep the campus
running.
Shepherd Union Renovation
update: Bids for the Shepherd Union Building renovation came in far
above what was budgeted and/or expected. That process is on hold until the
bidding companies come closer to projected amounts. The Bell Tower project
may also be on hold.
Personnel policies:
The Board of Trustees passed the changes in HR/personnel policies proposed
in the November meeting.
