BIOGRAPHY

NOMINATION SELECTION

Camille Gooch is an excellent example of how career progression at Weber State University functions best.  Upon graduation from college, Camille started working in the First Year Experience (FYE) program in a classified position in which she proved to be a great asset to WSU.

To best utilize Camille's gifts, she was then hired as an Academic Advisor by the Academic Advisement Center (FYE's "parent" department).  Upon completion of her MBA at WSU, Camille earned a promotion to Senior Academic Advisor and then another promotion to Coordinator of Special Projects. 

On behalf of the Student Success Center (formerly the Academic Advisement Center), Camille now coordinates WSU's Early Alert Referral Service (EARS) a campus-wide initiative in support of academically at risk students.  In addition to advising General Studies majors, Camille leads the efforts of this exciting new program that has already connected with 200 WSU students referred to the service by WSU community members.
