NOMINATION
SELECTION
Stephen is the programmer on a team
charged with developing an automated leave reporting system for
Weber State University. The project was well
into the process when, due to reassignment of duties in the CIO area,
Stephen was given the additional responsibility
of creating the web application piece of the project, in addition to
writing the files for holding all data entered. He had no training or
experience in web applications. Without
hesitation he obtained a manual and taught himself how to do that unique
programming. This is the kind of attitude Stephen
has had for the whole project. He has incorporated everything that was in
the initial specification document and made recommendations for additional
features that greatly enhanced the system being
developed.
In addition his attitude toward system changes and modifications
have always been positive.
He has done all this without any relief from the regular duties and
commitments of his position at WSU. Stephen Guzzetti is
strongly recommended as deserving the PSAC
employee award.
