Many of SWE's leaders have found the organization an ideal place to learn leadership skills while providing a safe environment to make mistakes while learning from them.  Members who are interested in outreach programs will also find many opportunities for outreach to students from elementary school through college age through the many career guidance programs sponsored by SWE.  We hope you will discover that SWE membership can be beneficial to you, and welcome you to join our section.
