The
Wildcat
Investors was formed in the spring of 1998 with $9,700
in seed
money from Weber State
University in Ogden, UT. An additional $25,000 was donated by
Mr. John B. Goddard. The goal of the Wildcat Investors is to give
students experience in security analysis and
portfolio management.
Students analyze and present various individual stocks and bonds
for possible
inclusion into the actual portfolio held by the group through
E*Trade.
Membership is open to anyone with any
major, but voting rights are reserved for those members who are part
of the Financial Management Association (FMA).
