Welcome to the Ogden Brewers Society website. This club is dedicated to the fine and time honored art of brewing. My goal in starting the OBS is that everyone involved(including myself), can learn a great deal about making beer, wine and mead.Meetings are to be held every 2 weeks, one meeting will be of a technical nature with a guest speaker, while the next meeting will be a tasting. I figure this way everyone will learn something new and also will get to enjoy some good beer in the company of others with similar interests. As you may or may not know, WSU is a dry campus, so tastings will have to be held off campus. I will organize these depending on the number of people who join up(I need at least 8 to be a club at WSU).
There are no dues at this time, I figure that expenses(if any) can be dealt with as they arise. I shouldnt have to mention this, but all members must be 21. The proctor for the OBS is Dr David Ferro of the computer science department. Please feel free to email me any questions you may have. -Jeff Iverson |
